Many areas and communities in Costa Rica  have been devastated by the floods caused by the abundant of rainfall this past two weeks. Many families are in desperate need of food, clothing, shelter, sanitary supplies, and ministry. One of the hardest effected areas is
Philadelphia, Gunacaste. The scenario is similar to New Orleans, after Katerina.. Water, water EVERY where and no place to go! Thousands of families have lost everything. The difference between New Orleans and Gunacaste is that they are not being relocated by the Government to dryer land with shelter, food and clean water. They are almost without hope!

The Respuesta Foundation is co laboring with various Church’s within the San Jose area. Through this joint effort of Church and community we are sending  supply trucks this coming week with all the supplies collected and donated by people like yourselves. We would appreciate your  assistance in providing us with ANYTHING that will bring comport to these peoples lives. We can send a truck to pick up any blessings in Costa Rica.  No offering is to large or to small. Many individuals and family's are participating. If you know of any one who has a heart to serve the needy, the hungry, the depressed, please call the Foundations secretary, Ileana Saenz , tel number 289 2507.
