US ENOCONOMY AND ITS AFFECTS ON COSTA RICA


From being involved in the Real Estate market in Costa Rica we can see a current decline of transactions in the $400,000 and up price points for houses and condos and in land purchase. In the price point ranging between $100K to $300 K we are still receiving clients interested in purchasing properties in Costa Rica. U.S. economy will certainly have an affect on our region, many projects that were planned to be financed by banks will not be complete and disappointed buyers, leaving projects like Pacifica Village an advantage over competition as Pacifica Village was not planned to be financed by the local banks. However due to the market?s down turn we are considering constructing Pacifica Village in stages, first completing sold units and infrastructure and then completing all the rest of the units. However this is not definite and depends on the coming high season sales.
