Take the Paquera ferry from Puntarenas, departing several times everyday, and enjoy an hour and a half trip over the Nicoya Gulf. Once in Paquera, another hour by road will get you to Montezuma. Or fly from San Jose to Tambour in half an hour and another half hour by road to Montezuma. Either by land or by air, Montezuma is very accessible.
