The Estate is located on the top of a hill in a small conceptual development inspired by Nature, designed for people that want to live mindfully within a harmonious and balance built environment. The idea is to preserve a piece of Costa Rica and create a space where people can gently live and genuinely feel as though they are a part of what this amazing country has to offer a unique experience of nature!
Located in the hills of Playa Bejuco just 25 minutes south of Jaco and approximately 35 minutes North of Manuel Antonio Park, the project is a unique site, home to many different species of flora and fauna including iguanas, monkeys, toucans and many other exotic birds. Hundreds of trees are scattered amongst 50 acres, lush and green in the rainy season and flowering in the dry season. The area has a rich diversity of ecosystems including sandy beaches, tropical mangroves, fresh water lakes and lagoons.
The ocean view Estate is a modern, sustainable private home, Ocean View that includes a 4,500 square foot main house and a 1,500 square foot guesthouse. The homes are open and transparent in order to enjoy the magnificent views of the mangrove and ocean, vast rolling hills and mountains, as well as the magical sunsets. Also offering Patio Homes, built within a small, sustainable community; each one perched on a ridgeline overlooking the mangrove, some with ocean views (425k).
The project is designed by Javier Salinas, a well-known and respected contemporary architect with a keen sense of a persons need to be close to nature, the spirit of a space and how people feel in it. With remarkable attention to detail, Javier understands that every part of a structure communicates something and should be designed and built with intention. He has designed homes and buildings through out Costa Rica, Latin America, and the US.
