From San Jose take the highway Braulio Carrillo toward Limon, once at Limon take the road to Sixaola, you will see the signs of Limon airport, Cahuita, Puerto Vargas, Hone Creek. Puerto Viejo is a one hour and half drive from Limon. Continue following the signs to Cahuita, and then to Puerto Viejo. When you get to Playa negra turn rigth in the sign of El Pizote, before Puerto Viejo's down town. Finally you have reach your destination: El Pizote Lodge.
