From San Jose take the highway Braulio Carrillo toward Limon, once at Limon take the road to Sixaola, you will see the signs of Limon airport, Cahuita, Puerto Vargas, Hone Creek, follow them. Puerto Viejo is a one hour and half drive from the town of Limon. When you get to Puerto viejo continue 5 km south in the main road, toward Manzanillo, at your left side you'll see a sign of Playa Chiquita Lodge, where you have reach your destination.
