How to get to Luna Llena
Our Hotel Review '
Hotel Luna Llena in Tamarindo Beach is a charming little hotel that offers clean and comfortable fully equipped Bungalows and beautifully designed rooms. Pino and Simone are the proud Italian owners and they give personal attention and general warmth to guests, this is something you don?t find in many other hotels in Costa Rica. Thumbs up to hotel Luna Llena!

hotel: Luna Llena Just a short walk from the beach and bustling downtown Tamarindo, Luna Llena hotel was beautiful. The bungalows were spacious and a few steps from the clean and refreshing pool. The grounds were overflowing with lush foilage and flowers. The staff were wonderful and made us feel welcome and genuinely "one of the gang" for the week. Breakfasts were served around the pool and were light, perfect for starting the day. Luca, the bartender from Italy who has a creative talent with fresh fruit drinks, gave us directions to one of his favorite beaches which we enjoyed immensely. I am trying to figure out a way to rent by the month and go back for an extended stay - no luck yet but I'm still working on it. The only thing I wish they could add is the ability to serve some snacks and lunch and dinner items. It was a wonderful 50th birthday for my husband and a memorable trip for all of us. Kathy Fox ...

hotel: Luna Llena The friendly and accomodating staff is the best part of Luna Llena. The staff is friendly and helpful. The free breakfast every morning is excellent. It's not anything fancy, but it's soooo good. I really missed the fresh fruit and scrumptious coffee after I returned to the states. The rooms are clean and tidy. The positives of Luna Llena are its staff and service and cozy atmosphere. The one negative is that the hotel is relatively farther inland than other hotels. While it is only a few blocks from the ocean, most of the hotels are either on the beach or right across from the beach. Walking back home at night felt safe, but I wouldn't recommend that girls walk home alone. Luna Llena would be perfect for families since they have fun, large bungalows. Overall, I really enjoyed my time in Costa Rica and Luna Llena....
