Hermosa beach stretches nearly 6 miles and is a wildlife refuge for the Olive Pacific Ridley turtle. The turtles come ashore and lay their eggs from June through December, you can witness this wonder of nature in the same beach that the hotel is located at.
The beach is also very popular for water sports, mainly surfing. A right breaking point wave breaks out front daily. The waves are very consist ant year round and with stadium lights illuminating the beach guest can surf day or even at night.
