Hotel Matama Is a group of mountains in the Talamanca range. The name Matama Was given by native Bri Bri indigenous to a group of mountains in the Talamanca range, the highest mountain of it is also called Matama. The owners of the Hotel decided to name it in honour to the majestic forest found in that place. The Hotel Matama is located few meters away from the Bonita and Portete Beaches
