Junior Suite
Two king size beds, bathroom with hot water and bathtub, telephone and safety deposit box. Share balcony with view to the Gulf of Nicoya.
Family Suite
The Family Suite equipped with a king-sized bed and two single beds on the mezzanine (second floor), a four-person soaking tub in the room, separate bathroom, hot water, telephone, balcony and private parking. These rooms are set off from other accommodations, offering more private surroundings for relaxing and enjoying the beautiful view.
Master Suite
These accommodations include two king-sized beds and a mezzanine with a double bed, telephone, private bathroom, luxurious tub, balcony and terrace, and a living room that looks out to the mountains and the Gulf of Nicoya . These rooms can be linked via the balcony - perfect for family groups of 12 to 15 people.

Monteverde Biological Cloud Forest Preserve:
Take one of Costa Rica?s most diverse natural history walks! Positioned atop the Continental Divide in western Costa Rica, the Preserve extends down both the Caribbean and Pacific slopes. The resulting combination of climatic and geographic factors creates temperature and humidity gradients which change dramatically over relatively short distances. This Cloud Forest homes unique animal species such as the red and blue Poison Arrow frogs as well as the Golden Toad, practically impossible to see at present. Splendid quetzals and Bell-birds fly about the canopy of the forest trees, and iridescent hummingbirds hover around in search of nectar. Because of the activity patterns of animals in this forest, we recommend taking this tour early in the morning so that you can live the experience of seeing wild animals in their natural habitat.

After visiting the lovely Hotel Heliconia we were impressed by the professional service and the high standard of the accommodation choices. Hotel Heliconia has beautiful Chalet type buildings, and gorgeous views from the balconies! Hotel Heliconia in Monteverde has a special Suite for large parties of 6 for a very reasonable price. Hotel Heliconia has a new outdoor spa and Jacuzzi area!!!'

Horrible amenities, general disreguard for clients, disinterest by management, $50 charge for "complementry meal" for one person, burned by shower, no chairs, TV in room. Didn't know about hot tubs, sauna until the day we left,. Could be 4 star if managemment adds simple ameni ties such as TV, radio, chairs, grab bars in showers. Rooms are beautiful, fabuloul view, but felt deserted. No access to ice or snacks. Very overpriced considering lack of amenities. Still have scars from burn from shower....
