Our nights at your hotel this past week were great. Service great as usual. Only one minor gliche with getting a van timely on Friday morning to catch our flight to Tamarindo. Had to wait too long and almost missed flight. All else was great. Food very good. Service very good. Like the new renovations. All in all a rating of 9.5. We?ll be back soon...

El Presidente is a beautiful marble fortress of a hotel in the heart of San Jose. We stayed there both at the beginning and end of our vacation. The rooms were spacious, comfortable and clean, The breakfast was ezcellent, tropical fruits, eggs cooked to order, breads, rice and beans, and fresh juces, not to mention great Costa Rican coffee. We enjoyed the rooftop jacuzzi and steam room, The hotel is on a pedestrian avenue in San Jose, it is easy to walk to the various parks and museums in the area. The staff was very helpful, arranging our tours and transportation.El Presidente is very modern, with excellent security. ...
