How to get to Hotel La Colina in Manuel Antonio Costa Rica
Traveling by Air:
Two domestic airlines, SANSA and NATURE AIR, serve the Manuel Antonio / Quepos area with four daily 20-minute flights from Costa Rica's capital, San Jos?.
We will be pleased help you with your local flight arrangements, reservations and ticketing. We strongly advise you to book your flights and hotel reservations well in advance, as the airlines and hotel are often fully booked during the high season. The airlines offer van services to the hotel.
Traveling by car:
The beautiful drive through the mountains and along the Pacific takes 3-1/2 hours from the airport in San Jose. En-route you may spot monkeys, iguanas and Sloth?s. You can also see crocodiles on the riverbanks as you cross some of the bridges.
Take the Inter-American Highway out of San Jose toward Puntarenas. After you pass the International airport look for the signs and exit to Jaco. Follow the signs to Jaco, you will pass through the towns of Atenas and Orotina. In Jac? signs will direct you to Quepos and Manuel Antonio, you will pass through the town of Parrita. From Quepos follow the signs towards the Manuel Antonio National Park. About 1 mile and half up the road from Quepos (2.4 Kilometers) after passing hotel Las Tres Banderas you will see on the right hand side of the road the entrance to Hotel La Colina parking lot.
Or, Traveling by Bus:
If you prefer to take the bus, there is a direct bus service daily at 6:00am, 12:00 noon, and 6:00pm from San Jose. The trip usually takes about three-and-a-half hours and costs roughly $5.00 per person. You must have a reserved seat and the busses are usually full, so we recommend you book well in advance of your planned trip. Ask the bus driver to drop you off in front of hotel La Colina roughly 2.4 miles up the road from Quepos.
