The drive from San Jose to Puntarenas takes about two hours along the Panamerican road.
In Puntarenas there are two ferry terminals that connect to Paquera:
- the terminal at the northwest end of the town where the Peninsular has a car/passenger ferry which does the one and half our trip to Paquera and the new air-conditioned car/passenger ferry oparated by Naviera Tambor also leaves from this dock and goes to Paquera.
Getting to Los Mangos Hotel: from Montezuma down town, where the bus station is, turn left at the corner in front of the public park. Follow the road for 250 mtrs and reach the Hotel just behind the corner at the end of the beach.
