Traveling by car:
The beautiful drive through the mountains and along the Pacific takes 3-1/2 hours from the airport in San Jose. En-route you may spot monkeys, iguanas and Sloths. You can also see crocodiles on the riverbanks as you cross some of the bridges.
Take the Inter-American Highway out of San Jose toward Puntarenas. After you pass the International airport look for the signs and exit to Jaco. Follow the signs to Jaco, you will pass through the towns of Atenas and Orotina. In Jaco signs will direct you to Quepos and Manuel Antonio, you will pass through the town of Parrita.
