The family who owns Posada Aeropuerto was very nice and hospitable. They picked us up from the airport and brought along the teenage son who speaks pretty good English, so that we could communicate through him with the driver. The accommodations, however, were not at all what I expected. Cocroaches were in my room, spider webs were in the light fixtures (and a baby spider in my coffee cup), flies swarmed the breakfast food--I began to fear for my health. I believe that Cupotico should make patrons aware of these conditions ahead of time. Not that they should say anything disparaging about the hotel, but basically let people know that the experience will be similar to camping. My friends who were staying there (and who enjoy the "camping" experience much more than I do) thought the hotel was great. They appreciated seeing how things "really are" in Costa Rica. ... '
