Coming from the International Airport Juan Santa Maria, close to the towns of Alajuela and San Jose:
Take the Interamericana (Highway 1) north in the direction of San Ramon and Esparza, follow the signs to Puntarenas. Turn left in Barranca, Puntarenas (Road 23), get until El Roble where you must turn right (Road 17), until Puntarenas town, follow the signs that lead you to the Ferry (Tambor/Paquera) at the end of Puntarenas. Take the Ferry to Paquera (1.5 hour trip).
In Paquera follow the signs to Cobano, is about 30 minutes from Paquera, when you get to Paquera continue straight, but don?t forget to fill up your car in the gas station, follow the signs to Tambor Beach, after the airport at your left side you have reach your destination: Tambor Beach Hotel.
