The Hacienda Guachipelin Hotel has 40 rooms: 4 kinds of rooms: Single Room, Double Room, Triple Room and Quadruple Room, all of them are in the old "casona." All of the rooms, also have, private bathrooms with hot water.
The rooms, at the Hacienda Guachipelin Hotel, are housed in simple buildings, with wide and inviting verandas for sharing afternoon chats with fellow travelers. The dining room and reception area are housed in a building over one century old, part of the original Hacienda.

Hacienda Guachipelin is a cattle farm dedicated to raising beef cattle and work horses. It is also dedicated to the conservation of the dry tropical forest and to commercial reforestation. In the last years it has participated in activities such as eco-tourism, adventure tourism.
There are trails for horseback riding, mountain biking or hiking. At the park, however, access is only allowed by foot. The river's pond and the waterfalls can be explored with a mask and snorkel. You can see different lava formations and of course, the bubbling of the waterfalls swirl.
The following is a description of the interesting sites at the Hacienda and the National Park:
Oropendola Waterfall: a 25 meter high waterfall with emerald-green water. A canyon covered in forest surrounds it. It is at 3 km, from the hotel.
Las Chorreras Waterfall: a double waterfall that joins the Blanco River and together they form a natural blue pool. An excellent place to enjoy a dip in the water or just to admire the beauty of the scenery. It is at 1 km. from the hotel.
La Victoria Waterfall: It is a place for the adventurous ones. It is accessed through a steep trail. When it reaches the Colorado River, there is a 35 meter high waterfall. The canyon surrounding the area has a different vegetation and depth. It is at 3 km. from the hotel.
The Red Pond: It is a pond on the Blanco River, which shows a solid rock formation in a red and white color. It is a very interesting lava formation and very close to the hotel.
Blanco River Pool: It is a natural pool of transparent water. It is surrounded by forest and rock formations characteristic of this area. It is very close to the hotel, at 600 meters, and is perfect for hiking during the day.
Volcanic mud pool and thermal water: It is located at 3 km. from the hotel. It is surrounded by forest and hugged by the Colorado River. Heat surfaces through a crack in the deep geological formations, and boiling mud pools are formed, which emanate a vapor with a smell of sulfur. The water and the volcanic mud have healing properties.
Rio Negro Tubing Adventure: First, ride through the forest for 45 minutes, then get your equipment ready, and go down the waters of Rio Negro for 90 minutes full of adrenaline. At the end you return on horseback for a period of 45 minutes.
Look out Point: A great place for watching the sunset. From here you can see a panorama of 360 degrees - from. the Gulf of Papagayo to the majestic Rinc6n de la Vieja Volcano, Santa Maria Volcano, and the Nicoya mountain range.
The Canyon Tour: Tour is a must do. Glide through the Rio Blanco Canyon, climb walls, try the Tarzan swing. It is a great adventure.
Thermal Waters: An isolated place, with clear thermal waters, with lots of sulfur and with the perfect temperature.
