Xandari Resort & Spa consists of 21 spacious villas on a 40 acre coffee and fruit plantation overlooking Costa Rica's Central Valley... Each spacious villa has a large panoramic view terrace, plus a walled-in a private patio.
Xandari Villas Description.
PRIMA VILLAS are spacious villas of approximately 500 sq. ft in a building of two to four villas (see note below). Most Prima villas have two full beds, and two Prima villas have King beds. All Prima villas have a private terrace with a panoramic view of the Central Valley, an enclosed terrace on the entry side of the villa, a bar kitchen and small refrigerator.
PRIMA PLUS is similar in size to a Prima Villa, but it is an individual building. In addition to a large private view terrace, it has a private garden on the side and in the rear. It has a large bathroom, opening to the garden, with two lavatories and additional storage space. It has a built in sofa that can be used as an extra bed. An electric cart is available for transportation uphill 200 meters to the main building, restaurant and swimming pools.
ULTRA VILLAS are larger villas of approximately 735 sq. ft and most are in individual buildings for increased privacy. Villas 15 and 16 are Ultra Villas in a 4 villa building, and have a sleeping alcove with king bed with a Central Valley view on one side and a private garden on the other side. All have a private terrace with a panoramic view of the Central Valley, an enclosed terrace on the entry side of the villa, and a bar kitchen with a small refrigerator.
ULTRA PLUS VILLAS the newest and largest villas are of approximately 820 sq. ft, located near the Spa Village. They have a King bed and two convertible sofa beds, a roman bathtub overlooking a private garden in addition to a shower. They have a private terrace with a panoramic view of the Central Valley, a generous bar Kitchen with small refrigerator. An electric cart is available for transportation uphill 200 meters to our main building, restaurant and swimming pools.

Hiking :
Hike our rustic trails through untouched transitional forest with bamboo groves, wild impatiens and heliconia to five natural waterfalls. You can also watch native birds and listen to their calls. Costa Rica is a bird watcher's paradise and many species call Xandari home.
Sunbathe on your walled-in private terrace or by a swimming pool. The climate at Xandari is a pleasant 70 degrees year-round, so sunbathing is almost always inviting at some time during the day, even in the rainy season. And you can also Relax in our outdoor Jacuzzi, or Take a dip or serious swim in one of two heated 60 ft. long lap pools.
You can also go to a day tour to the Poas Volcano:
A scenic drive through green countryside up to the top of Poas Volcano, one of the widest accessible volcanic craters in the world. Stand on the edge & look down into the bubbling blue cauldron. Currently Poas has very active fumaroles in the inner part of the crater. The second crater, Botos, is a crystal clear rain-fed lake surrounded by highland jungle & is reached by a walk of about a mile through a unique dwarf cloud forest.
