Adobe Rent a Car does not accept debit card
Our Cancellation Policy requires at least 3 days upon to scheduled arrival time to avoid a one day charge penalty.
Vehicles are not allowed to be driven outside of Costa Rica .
Any adjustments or modifications to the reservation may change the rate.
Our Rental period is 24 hours per day. After 4 hours delay of the drop off date, an extra day change applied. Each additional driver has a cost of U$ 3.00 per day per driver.
Drivers need to present the valid driver license and a major valid credit card (Visa or American Express ) in under her/his name at the time of the rental. Minimum age of driver is 21 years old.
Adobe Rent a Car offers meet and greet service at the airport when exact flight details are provided. Renter will be meeting at arrival gates by a Adobe Rent a Car, representative holding a sign with the renters name and taken by shuttle to the location office.
The mandatory insurance covers (CDW) collision damage and waiver CDW, there are a deductible for U$ 1000.00; also the insurance has a maximum coverage of 80% for damages to third parties in case of accident. We offer an optional deductible insurance for an extra cost of U$ 10.00 per day, which covers the theft and all parts of the car, such as repair tire and windshield. There is no coverage for theft of personals belongings.
We do not accept credit card insurance, because of many restrictions with the coverage; especially it does not have liability coverage, which is mandatory to drive in our country. It neither covers S.U.V automobiles nor do they cover accidents in gravel road.
