Details
The coral reef of Cahuita National Park includes more or less 240 habitats. There are 123 different species of fishes, 44 species of crustaceans, 140 shellfish and 128 carious algies identified. We can also observe 35 different coral species such as the fire coral, the red and black coral which is unique in this area. Regarding the park, we will have the opportunity to see the vegetation coast and to observe animals such as sloths, monkeys, snakes, etc?
We will go to Cahuita by car and from there we will take a boat and we will go snorkeling for two hours in two different points of the National Park. Afterward we will go back to the beach to rest for a while and we will start a walk into the national park for 1 ? hours with a guide who is going to explain us about the vegetation and the history of Cahuita and who is going to help us to observe the different animals we can see in the park.
At the end of the walk we will take the car back to Puerto Viejo.
