The tour begins with a 2 hour drive to the town of Cano Negro. Along the way the guides will explain many interesting things about the region. Before boarding the canoes you will stop for breakfast at a typical restaurant, and enjoy some delicious Costa Rican coffee.
Now it?s time to begin the exciting journey through the Cano Negro Refuge. Explore the refuge by canoe, and paddle the canoes down the Rio Frio or Rio Los Patos. If you only have one day and want to see a wide range of wildlife, this trip is a favorite.
