The tour begins with a 90 minute drive in our air-conditioned bus through some of Costa Rica?s richest farmland. Your expert bilingual naturalist guide will point out some of Costa Rica?s agricultural bounty.
After a welcome drink we board the motorboat and ride slowly for about 20 minutes on the Rio Frio (river) to reach the National refuge Ca?o Negro. You'll board a comfortable covered motor launch, all seats offer excellent viewing. For the next 2 ? hours we enjoy the beautiful Fauna and Flora of this exceptional pretty National refuge. Frequent sightings include three types of monkeys, bats, and two types of sloth, iguanas, "Jesus Christ" lizards, turtles, caimans, mammals and diverse species of flora and lowland birds.
After a quick break in Los Chiles, enjoy a relaxing returning ride to La Fortuna.
