The Carara National Park is one of the few remaining breeding grounds for the magestic Scarlet Macaw, which can easily be spotted in the early morning and late afternoon hours. Hiking thru the park trails you will pass rivers, lakes, and waterfalls. Not to mention you may spot monkeys, collared aracaris, raccoons, and coaties among others.
